Products and Buying Guide

Medimart offers a broad range of rehabilitation and health-care products, including wheelchairs and mobility aids, health-monitoring devices, therapeutic equipment, pain-relief products, respiratory-care products, elderly-care products, home-living products, nutritional drinks and food products. Browse the product categories, pain categories or brand categories to find products for your needs.
Consider the user’s height, weight, seat width, home and access environment, whether self-propulsion or powered control is needed, and storage or transport requirements. Review the product’s maximum load, dimensions, battery information and warranty. For stair access, public transport use or long periods of sitting, seek advice from a health-care or rehabilitation professional, or speak with a Medimart store before purchase.
A wheelchair provides more complete mobility support for people who cannot walk far or safely. A walking frame provides a wider base of support while walking, while a walking stick provides one-sided support and balance assistance. The most suitable option depends on gait, balance, upper-limb strength and the living environment. First-time users or people at a higher risk of falling should seek professional advice.
Consider the measurement method, arm circumference, display size, memory function and the user’s ability to operate the device. Upper-arm monitors require correct cuff placement. For older adults or frequent monitoring, check cuff size, instructions and product specifications, and choose according to advice from a health-care professional.
Not necessarily, and they should not be assumed to be interchangeable. Different brands, models and test types use specific test strips, lancets or calibration methods. Check the model stated on the product page and packaging, use only compatible consumables, and confirm expiry dates and storage conditions before use.
No. Home monitoring devices can help record blood pressure, blood glucose, oxygen saturation, temperature and other health data over time, but they do not replace a diagnosis or treatment decision made by a doctor based on symptoms, medical history and formal assessment. Seek medical advice if readings remain abnormal, differ significantly from the usual baseline, or occur with symptoms.
Measure the available room space, doorways, corridors, lift dimensions and bed area. Also check the power-point location and sufficient working space for carers. Dimensions and delivery access are especially important for large items such as electric beds, nursing beds and geriatric chairs. Returns due to size issues may incur additional charges, so confirm details with Customer Service or a Medimart store before ordering.
Use the waist or hip measurements, absorbency rating and day or night use stated on the product page or packaging; do not rely only on usual clothing size. Size charts differ by brand. Because some personal-care items cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons, recheck size, style and quantity before purchase.
Not always. Nutritional drinks, soft foods and specialised nutrition products vary in nutritional profile and intended use. People with diabetes, kidney disease, swallowing difficulties, food allergies or restrictions on particular nutrients should consult a doctor, registered dietitian or speech therapist before choosing a product.
No. A sleep apnea machine should not be used as a substitute for professional assessment. Snoring can have different causes, and the mode, pressure setting and mask selection for CPAP, APAP or other positive-airway-pressure devices should be determined by a doctor, sleep assessment or authorised health-care professional.
No. Oxygen concentrators and nebulisers have different purposes, settings and suitability requirements. Use them only according to the instructions and advice of a health-care professional; they do not replace diagnosis, prescribed medication or emergency care. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, chest pain, blue lips, altered consciousness or other acute symptoms.
Some popular products may have limited stock or be temporarily unavailable online. Check the stock or availability notice on the product page. For bulk purchases, alternative-model advice or estimated restocking information, contact Medimart Customer Service or visit a store.

Delivery and Store Pick-up

Medimart’s current delivery page lists delivery services for Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and overseas. Charges, lead times, destination restrictions and responsibilities differ by location. Read the latest terms for your destination on the Delivery Service page before placing an order.
Orders of HK$100 or above qualify for free local SF Express smart-locker and SF Express station service. This does not include direct residential delivery. Available SF Express options and collection points are subject to the choices shown at checkout and courier arrangements.
General merchandise orders of HK$500 or above qualify for free delivery to a Hong Kong residential or commercial address. Different product groups, specific brands and remote areas may have different thresholds or charges; refer to the product page and checkout for the applicable arrangement.
For delivery to a residential or commercial address, diapers, mattress pads and nursing consumables such as tape and dressings require an order of HK$800 or more. Nutritional soft foods, nutritional drinks and food products require HK$1,000 or more. If an order includes products from different groups, the highest threshold applies; specific brands may state separate requirements on their product pages.
For an order below the applicable free-delivery threshold that requires delivery, the standard additional delivery fee is generally HK$80, excluding special areas. The final delivery method and charge are subject to the options shown at checkout and the current delivery terms.
The order cut-off time is 12:00 noon. Orders placed after noon are generally processed on the following day. Under normal circumstances, Hong Kong delivery is completed within 2–3 days after ordering. Public holidays, product type, logistics conditions and special-area arrangements may affect the delivery date.
Yes. If a Black Rainstorm Warning or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued on the scheduled delivery day, delivery will be rescheduled and announced again. Ensure the order contact details are accurate so that you can receive updates.
No. For security reasons, Medimart does not leave goods unattended at a customer’s request. Please receive the order during the confirmed delivery period. If residential delivery cannot be accepted after two confirmed attempts, a HK$80 late-delivery fee applies; additional charges may apply for bulky goods such as nursing beds or geriatric chairs.
Yes. If a lift cannot reach the delivery address, delivery of wheelchairs, geriatric chairs and other bulky items by stairs is charged at HK$50 per floor for each bulky item, with no upper limit. For hospital beds, the charge is HK$200 per floor for each bed, with no upper limit. Inform Medimart about the delivery environment before ordering.
Yes, but remote-area surcharges and designated delivery days apply. For example, Ma Wan (Park Island) carries a HK$40 surcharge, while the outlying islands, Cheung Chau and Lantau Island excluding Tung Chung carry a HK$300 surcharge. Tung Chung and Discovery Bay have different charges depending on order value and delivery day. Refer to the latest remote-area fee table on the Delivery Service page.
Yes. Store pick-up has no additional charge. After successful payment, you should receive a notification email within 12 hours. Products are ready for collection by three working days after the order date and must be collected from the selected store within 14 days. Provide the collector’s name and mobile number at pick-up.
Macau residential orders of HK$500 or above qualify for free delivery; orders below that amount generally incur a HK$80 fee. For Mainland China and overseas, delivery charges are shown separately based on product type, size, weight and destination. For overseas orders, the buyer is responsible for import restrictions, duties and VAT, so check local laws and customs requirements before purchase.

Returns, Warranty and Repairs

No. Under Medimart’s current terms, products are not refundable after the order has been received by the system; eligible items may only be exchanged in accordance with the policy. Check the model, size, specifications and order details carefully before purchasing. See Returns, Warranty and Repairs for the latest terms.
If an online purchase is damaged or does not match the order, contact Medimart by email or telephone within seven working days of receipt. Keep the product, complete packaging, all accessories and proof of purchase so that an exchange can be arranged.
The packaging must be complete and all accessories must be returned with the product. Customers may return the item to the designated address during business hours at their own postage cost, or return it to a store. Medimart will not accept items returned late or in a damaged condition.
If a purchased product is damaged or the size is unsuitable, the customer may exchange it once for the same product at a store within seven days of the invoice date, provided that the packaging remains complete and clean. For hygiene reasons, personal-care products such as commodes, urinals, compression stockings and pillows cannot be exchanged. Price differences are not refunded.
Keep the original receipt and online order record. A product that is damaged during its warranty period may be eligible for repair under the terms, and parts charges may apply. Failure to provide proof of purchase or an online registration record may affect warranty handling. Refer to the individual product information for the warranty period and scope.
Misuse, negligence, accidents, natural disasters, unauthorised repair or modification, altered serial numbers, installation or use that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions, lack of proof of purchase, cosmetic materials and consumables such as batteries, tyres, cushions and heat-pad covers, and mechanical wear and tear may incur charges or fall outside warranty coverage.
Repairs generally take about 7–10 working days, and Medimart will notify you when the repair is complete. Except for bulky goods such as nursing beds and geriatric chairs, customers normally bring items requiring repair to a store. Overseas purchases may be sent to the Hong Kong repair centre, but the customer bears both-way delivery costs and should contact Medimart by email before shipping.

Health Information

The following information is for general health education and home-monitoring reference only. It is not a medical diagnosis, treatment or personalised recommendation. Consult a doctor or qualified health-care professional if you have symptoms, a relevant medical history or concerns about any reading.

Rest quietly for at least five minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, caffeinated drinks and vigorous exercise for 30 minutes beforehand. Sit in a chair with back support, keep both feet flat and uncrossed, rest the arm at heart level, and place the cuff as instructed. Take two readings about one to two minutes apart and record the results.
For most adults, an ideal blood pressure can be understood as systolic pressure below 120 mmHg and diastolic pressure below 80 mmHg. If correctly measured readings on different days remain at or above 140/90 mmHg, arrange a medical assessment. Readings of 120–139/80–89 mmHg also merit attention to lifestyle and discussion with a health-care professional. A single reading cannot diagnose hypertension.
Blood glucose should be interpreted according to the timing of measurement, food intake, pregnancy status, age and individual medical history. In general, fasting blood glucose below 5.6 mmol/L is commonly regarded as within the normal range, and a two-hour oral glucose tolerance test result below 7.8 mmol/L is a common reference. A home glucose meter cannot make a formal diagnosis. Consult a doctor if fasting readings repeatedly fall within 5.6–6.9 mmol/L or remain elevated.
For healthy adults at sea level, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) is generally about 95%–100%. Personal baseline readings, altitude and pre-existing respiratory conditions must also be considered. Seek urgent medical help if readings are repeatedly low or remain at 90% or below, especially with breathlessness, chest tightness, rapid heartbeat, dizziness or blue lips.
Sleep apnea cannot be diagnosed from symptoms alone. However, loud and recurrent snoring, witnessed breathing pauses or gasping during sleep, morning headaches or fatigue, daytime sleepiness, poor concentration and raised blood pressure are signs that should be assessed. Consult a doctor or sleep-care professional, who may recommend a sleep study.
