User benefits
- Quintin promotes hair growth (2007) [1]
48 people with thinning hair were divided into two groups. The experimental group took 10 mg of quinine every day, while the control group took a placebo. After 9 months, the experimental group generally achieved positive results. In addition to the hair becoming stronger, the hair volume also increased significantly. On the contrary, the control group had no obvious changes.
- Reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity (2011)[2]
Fifty women aged 40-65 with skin aging were divided into two groups. The experimental group took 10 mg of quinosine every day, while the control group took a placebo. After 20 weeks, the skin smoothness of the experimental group increased by an average of 19%, and its elasticity was also visibly improved. There were no significant changes in the control group.
- Improving brittle nails (2007)[3]
One study tested the effects of different nutrients on nail growth, including gallium, biotin, vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin A, zinc, iron, copper, selenium and vitamin B12, among others. In the end, it was found that only quinone and biotin contributed to nail health, and no other nutrients had any visible impact. Taking 10mg of Gui every day can effectively reduce brittle nail syndrome.
- Improve bone density (2004)[4]
1,251 men and 1,596 women, aged between 30 and 87 years old, underwent a five-year experiment. The total content of cortisol in the subjects’ diet was recorded, and bone density tests were performed to compare changes in the data during the experiment. The results showed that bone density (hip bones) increased significantly, and this phenomenon occurred in both men and premenopausal women.
