Main effects

Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALCAR) is present in the body and has the effect of protecting and accelerating nerve repair: promoting cellular energy metabolism, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative damage, maintaining glial function, and enhancing nerve growth factor activity.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous fatty acid amide that is present in all tissues, including the brain, mainly by activating PPAR-α (nuclear receptor) and endocannabinoid receptors, exerting anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, immunomodulatory and neuroprotective effects.
